The YPR PRBR (Pantser Rups Battle Damage Repair) and transport is still in use with the 43rd Mechanised Brigade. Largely replaced by CV90 and Boxer MRAV vehicles.
The tanks are part of the 4th company of the German- Dutch 414 Tank Battalion, which is part of the Dutch 43rd Mechanised Brigade and are leased from Germany.
These modifications enable digital communications with Dutch units. The 18 tanks have been modernised and are equipped with Dutch communications and information systems. This is a list of the equipment of the Royal Netherlands Army.
